Software Spotlight

You already know AIMS carries a wide range of CMMs, probes, and accessories, but are you familiar with our software offerings?

  • MODUS software from Renishaw supports the entire Revolution line including configuration, simulation, collision avoidance, native DMIS support and more. Upgrades and training are available too.
  • QC-CALC packages from Prolink make it easy to gather, transfer, and report data from all your CMMs into a central spreadsheet or database so you can analyze it and make decisions.
  • Prolink’s Reaction Manager uses measurement data and process documentation to create a plan for adjusting equipment when the production process has started to drift.
  • Quicksoft’s CMM Manager features a user-friendly GUI with the ability to import CAD files, name part features, program measurement points and path, and designate which probe to use. Custom and templated reports are available for data analysis too.

    EV parts measurement

Electric cars with their “green” electric motors continue to grab the spotlight, having unseated the internal combustion engine from its perch as the heart of the automotive industry. A growing number of car makers are unveiling new EV models they expect to release to the marketplace over the next five years.

    Direct drive linear motor

Linearity is a term used to describe mathematical relationships, but it also refers to a type of high-performance motor. Basically, the technology uses linear motion to move a payload at a specified acceleration, speed, travel distance and accuracy.
